Here's a clever "movie" trailer showcasing a poetry book.
It features A Curious Collection of Cats by Betsy Franco (Tricycle Press, 2009) and incorporates music by Doris Day, voiceovers by children, and great cat images. Enjoy this creation by Diana Ellis, another awesome Texas librarian!

An appealing trailer! Poetry lends itself well to book trailers since it's so auditory, and in many cases, so visual.
How did Diana know Doris Day in my
most favorite actress/singer in the
world?
Another curious video!

I thoroughly enjoyed the trailer about my book. Thank you so much. I adore cats...obviously.
Thanks for stopping by and your lovely kudos for Diana. Her trailer is completely different from Betsy's book and yet captures the playful spirit of her book (and of cats)-- plus shows how a book can prompt a completely personal and unique response.
Thanks, Sylvia!
The purrfect book trailer!
I never thought of a book trailer for a poetry book. Awesome! My only thought for her next one is that it was hard for me to hear the speaker above the song, so that might be a consideration next time. : )
