I'm excited to announce that I have a new book coming out on October 6, 2020. It's a poetry anthology to be published by DK books. A World Full of Poems. I am so honored to be part of this project-- seeking out poems, gathering permissions, and creating related activities for young readers. Although I didn't have final say on all the poems, I still think we gathered a wonderful, diverse family of more than 100 poets from the US and the UK on a variety of relevant topics and themes. Hooray! Many congratulations. I teach in an International Baccalaureate school...this is perfect for our library shelves and classrooms.

ReplyDeleteCongrats! Not an easy task to assemble over 100 poets from the US and UK though I'm sure the results will be worth what it took to get a book like this published for young readers. Many kudos for bringing more poetry into the lives of young people!
