"In the Life of a Substitute" by Lydia Breiseth
Here's another mini movie created by Elaine A. featuring the poem "In the Life of a Substitute" by Lydia Breiseth from Great Morning: Poems for School Leaders to Read Aloud (Pomelo Books, 2018). Enjoy!
Cute poem! The pics match the words well adding fun. I especially like the girl jumping on the bed in excitement that she is going to substitute. I get excited, too. I used to have my own class, but I now substitute. It is true that you learn something new everyday. I love teaching and meeting different classes of students at the elementary level. It can be fun, difficult, and exhilarating.
Substitutes are superheroes!
