We read poetry aloud almost everyday. We also listen to Poetry Speaks for Children in the car. Very often, she will recite a line, or a phrase from a poem. It delights me to hear her recite poetry. Now I can think of it as taking something precious from her "pocket".<BR/><BR/>Thanks for sharing your article in Book Links. I adore "Goin’ Someplace Special". Just this afternoon I was thinking about how to extend our picture book readings. Poetry & picture books is a marvelous combination. Now I just have to think about the connections.
